Watch cricket highlights: India vs West Indies - the 3rd ODI highlights from St Lucia (to be ) played on July 3, 2009.

Today is the 3rd clash between the India and West Indies in the 4 match ODI series. Both teams have won one match each so today’s match is crucial whosoever wins will definitely be relieved from loosing the series. Indian team looks tired and out of form. They are not at their very best and have to come back good in today’s match. West Indies are looking quite confident with the aggressive performance of Ravi Rampaul in the last match. India has not played any match in St. Lucia, while West Indies have played 10 matches so WI has a little advantage over pitch condition.

Highlights can be viewed starting 01:00 IST, Scheduled start is 13:30 GMT, 19:00 IST.

Lee takes 5, seals Ashes spot

Brett Lee picked up 5 wickets against England Lions while his fellow fast bowlers went wicketless, and thus sealed his place in the first Ashes Test atleast. While Brett Lee was out injured, Mitchell Johnson and Peter Siddle had surged ahead in team rankings. Only the third fast bowler slot was open and Brett Lee, Stuart Clark and Hilfenhaus the three main contenders for it. But this five wicket haul has pretty much sealed the place for Brett Lee.

“Without giving too much away, the plan was to scuff the ball up as quickly as possible when the ball goes flat in the middle overs,” Lee said. ”In a meeting before the game we tried to work out ways that we would bowl effectively in Cardiff, with the ball being scuffed up on that type of wicket. It took about four or five overs to get it going and they threw me the ball. That’s when I feel at my deadliest.”

The spell of sustained late movement, which included being on a hat-trick after he bowled Joe Denly and had Ian Bell lbw, reminded Lee’s team-mates of his performance in Antigua last year when he took 5 for 59. “When the ball is tailing in, it’s pretty hard to get the ball out of my hand,” Lee said. “You always feel like you’re in the game as a fast bowler. It did take me back to playing against West Indies, so it was fun times.”

Match Today - West Indies v India, 3rd ODI, St Lucia

With the series tied at 1-1 and just one more match after today, both teams would want to get in front and ensure that they do not loose the series. The main problem for India has been that only Yuvraj has looked like scoring any runs, and others do not inspire so much confidence. India is sorely missing Sachin and Sehwag at the top of the order. It would also be a good time to give Nayar a chance at the international level. West Indies would again be banking on their fast bowlers to run through the Indian batting like they did in the second match.
